A zip, because pulling a compression vest over your head is the worst part of owning one.
Compression garments are tight by design, which makes getting into them a wrestle — especially over the shoulders, and especially if your back or shoulders are already the problem. A front zip means you put it on like a jacket and close it.

Firm compression through the midsection and waist, with support through the back. Under a shirt it flattens the line; the zip lets you adjust how much you actually want.
Who it suits
Anyone with limited shoulder mobility, anyone recovering from surgery who has been told to wear abdominal support, and anyone who has given up on a pull-on vest.
Sizing
Between sizes, take the larger. A zip that will not close is worse than a vest that is slightly loose.
