Postpartum Belly Band
Postpartum Belly Band

A wide abdominal binder for the first weeks after birth or abdominal surgery. Two soft ribs sewn into the back panel support your lower back and hold you upright, and two separate closures let you adjust the tension without taking it off — which matters on the days you need it looser by evening than it was that morning.
Sizing — measure first
These do not follow standard dress sizing. Measure around your waist and lower abdomen before ordering, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one.
- Small / Medium — 29" to 35" waist
- Large — 35" to 41" waist
- X-Large — 40" to 46.5" waist
- XX-Large — 45.3" to 55" waist
Material
- Breathable, lightweight, and stretchable
- Latex free
- Two soft support ribs in the back panel
- Two adjustable closures
When to wear it
After an uncomplicated vaginal birth, it can generally be worn straight away. After a caesarean, wait for your provider to clear you — usually somewhere between two and four weeks, depending on how your incision is healing.
What this is and is not
This is support and comfort. It holds your midsection steady, takes strain off your lower back, and makes moving around less uncomfortable while you recover. It is not a medical device, it does not speed up healing, and it will not change your body composition. If you have had complications, ask your provider before wearing any compression garment.
